Russian air attacks have accelerated since Christmas, pouring misery and deprivation on Ukraine’s population as the Kremlin tries to cower Kyiv’s civilian population.
Plummeting temperatures of -5C and lower mean Ukrainians are fighting bitter temperatures as fuel and food depots are targeted by Moscow’s forces.
This is possibly the most imaginative, creatively conceived but ultimately utterly pointless means of attack by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s barbaric and dumb regime.
In the first few weeks of the full-scale invasion, and ever since, Ukrainians have suffered rape, torture, murder, abduction and other forms of violence of the likes most of us will never witness.
Over one 24-hour period, 100 weapons were fired into Ukraine, many of them cruise missiles costing around £10million each, meaning Putin spent over £1billion on trying to get Ukraine to cower.
So desperate is he that he even ordered his air force to stockpile missiles in order to maximise their impact during the winter months.
